In Lithuania is there something sinister called an iron "something" whats its name and what is it?

I heard a conversation the other day about a man saying he was going to Lithuania to open an iron ,and then anothe word i cant remember. Can anyone help or suggest what it might be and what it is? thankyou!

    Het enige dat komt naar mijn mening geassocieerd met 'ijzer' en Litouwen is het 'gordijn', de term die gebruikt wordt tijdens de koude oorlog aan een land 'achter het ijzeren gordijn', dwz een deel van het Oostblok te beschrijven, dat Litouwen was toen een deel van de Sovjet-Unie.
